About Me
Michael Doty has dedicated his life to service. His journey began in the U.S. Navy, where he served in the HM-14 Mine Countermeasures Squadron in Norfolk, Virginia. During his service, he earned multiple commendations, including a Meritorious Unit Commendation, a Good Conduct Medal, a National Defense Service Medal, and two Navy Battle "E" Ribbons.
After his military career, Michael transitioned into the music industry, assisting multi-platinum artists and later founding a gospel division at Wu-Tang Management/PYN Records, reflecting his deep passion for music. He then moved into real estate, starting with luxury rentals in Manhattan before advancing to project management, where he collaborated with developers on large-scale condominium and rental projects. Eventually, he founded Black Dog Home Builders, constructing luxury homes throughout Long Island.
As a builder, Michael frequently dealt with insurance, which sparked his curiosity about the industry. When the real estate market shifted, he turned that interest into a new career, finding a new way to serve and protect others.
In his years in the insurance industry—and following his own health scare—Michael has helped countless clients safeguard what matters most. Now, he focuses on Medicare Insurance, continuing his lifelong commitment to service and ensuring individuals get the coverage they deserve.
